La Misión principal del Instituto de Meteorología es suministrar información meteorológica y climática autorizada, confiable y oportuna sobre el estado y comportamiento futuro de la atmósfera. The primary mission of the Institute of Meteorology is to provide weather and climate information authorized, reliable and timely information on the status and future behavior of the atmosphere. This information is intended to ensure the safety of human life and reduce the losses of tangible property from natural disasters of meteorological origin, contributing directly to community welfare and sustainable development.
