- For those of you who follow Person Finder, I wanted to give you some advance notice that we are about to turn off the Haiti, Chile, China, and Pakistan instances of the app (See announcement http://groups.google.com/group/personfinder/browse_thread/thread/497b0155a53a6fc3).
- Based on feedback about privacy of the personal data, our plan is for each instance to be up for a finite length of time following a crisis. Person Finder remains ready to launch again if or when another major crisis occurs.
- Future instances of Person Finder that we launch will be hosted at a predictable location - subdomains of http://person-finder.appspot.com/.
