Lucayan Archipelago

Introduction

The Lucayan Archipelago, as defined by Julian Granberry, consists of the islands of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and of the Turks and Caicos Islands (part of the British Overseas Territories). The archipelago is located in the western North Atlantic Ocean east of Florida and north of the Greater Antilles. The Lucayan Archipelago is informally grouped with the Caribbean Sea islands.
