- Muzaffargarh is a town in southwestern Punjab, Pakistan located on the bank of the Chenab River. It is the chief city of Muzaffargarh District. The city was founded in the sixteenth century and in 1864 became headquarters of Muzaffargarh District. This city is famous for sweet mangoes and nuts. Population 158,597 (2010 estimate).
