Class participation
I don't know if anyone is monitoring this talk page, but I am a college instructor teaching a class that involves discussion of the social role of new media. I'd love to have my class help with the crisis wiki this morning, since they could be of assistance and learn something as well. Any guidelines for this? Afamiglietti 13:34, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- We don't have much documentation yet. Review the older Emergencies to see the conventions for adding content. I am in the process of reviewing posts for this emergency and making adjustments. A common mistake is to put the URL in the title - that's a no no. Also people need to be specific with news titles, for example: CNN blog is insufficient, better is CNN blog: 2011 Japan Earthquake. If you have specific questions I will try to answer them. Also you can join the Google group http://groups.google.com/group/crisiswiki?hl=en --jwalling 00:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
